Psalm 121
“I lift up my eyes to the hills—
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.”

The psalm begins with a question:
“Where does my help come from?”
The writer looks to the hills—often places of uncertainty or danger—but quickly answers:
👉 My help is not in the hills…
my help is in the Lord.

Repeated throughout the psalm is this word: “keeper.”
God:
- Watches over you
- Protects you
- Stays near
📖 “He who keeps you will not slumber…”
👉 God never gets tired.
He never misses what you’re going through.

“The sun shall not strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.”
This means:

Your help is not in:
- Your strength
- Your resources
- Your control
👉 Your help is in the Lord Himself

is the One who watches over you personally.

Lord,
